His Love

Did you know that God loves you so much that He wants you to have unconditional love… for eternity?  He wants us to have the best life here and to live a life with Him forever.

For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life. —John 3:16 (NIV)

I have come that they may have life, and that they may have it more abundantly. —John 10:10 (NIV)

Are you interested?  Then simply follow these following three steps:

Step 1: The Problem: Our Separation from Him

The great news is that God did not create us to be robots.  We are not bound to simply do as if we were programmed.  We are given the ability to choose.  However, have all our choices been good?  Have we ever made any bad choices in life?  These are typical what we call sin.  Unfortunately, our God is holy and therefore our sins separates us from Him.

For all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God. —Romans 3:23 (NIV)

For the wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord. —Romans 6:23 (NIV)

Step 2: God’s Answer: The Cross

God loved us so much that He wanted to provide us a way to come back to Him.  Therefore, He sent His Son Jesus to die on the cross for the sins we’ve committed and rose from the dead.  His sacrifice provides us a way back to Him.

For Christ died for sins once for all, the righteous for the unrighteous, to bring you to God. —1 Peter 3:18 (NIV)

But God demonstrates His own love for us in this: While we were still sinners, Christ died for us. —Romans 5:8 (NIV)

Step 3: Our Response: Receive Christ

With this gift of love, the only response we need to take is to receive.  We must trust Jesus Christ as our Lord and Savior, and allow Him to cleanse us of our sins.

Yet to all who received Him, to those who believed in His name, He gave the right to become children of God. —John 1:12 (NIV)

That if you confess with your mouth, ‘Jesus is Lord,’ and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, you will be saved. —Romans 10:9 (NIV)

Admit that you are a sinner and you are in need of God.
Believe the Jesus Christ died and rose again for your sins.
Confess Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior.

You can use the following prayer right now to receive Him -

Dear God, I admit I am a sinner in need of You.  I believe Jesus died and rose again for my sins.  Please forgive me of my sins and I invite you into my life.  I confess Jesus Christ as my personal Savior and will follow You as my Lord.  Thank You for saving me.  In Jesus’ name, Amen.
